Socialist On My Campus...I Don't Think So.

Candidate for U.S. Congress in Connecticut First Congressional District Chris Hutchinson of the "Youth for Socialist Action" aka Left Wing Socialist was on Campus today soliciting signatures to get himself on the ballot in November for the General Election. Go figure they didn't have permission to be there what a shock I know.

Being a person who believes in fair elections I brought my concern to administrators at the college, who after taking one look at the Propaganda I received and looking threw it called Campus Police and asked to find out whether or not they had the permission to be there. Now here is the biggest shocker...if your standing take a seat...hold on tightly...ready here it comes...THEY DIDN'T HAVE PERMISSION TO BE THERE!!! I am flabbergasted at this, I was in such shock that a candidate from left wing of the left wing was not following the rules. Very shocked indeed.

Needless to say I am happy to report Campus Police politely asked them to leave, and if they would like to do such a thing in the future that they go threw the proper channels and get permission from the college before setting up shop in the middle of campus. I also put in a call to the Secretary of State's office alerting them of the candidate collecting signatures without permission on State Property, and encouraged them to throw out every signature collected today on campus as they should be considered null and void. We already have one Socialist in office we don't need more, and with the help of The Greater Manchester Young Republicans we prevented another one today.

  1. What's most alarming here is that you, purportedly a college student, apparently don't kow the difference between "your" (possessive pronoun) and "you're" (contraction of you + are), or "threw" (past tense of "throw") and "through" (adverb).
Anyway, on June 16, your socialist friend did, indeed, speak to the office of student affairs, and acquired permission to be on campus to collect signatures.
Sadly, despite your lip-service to fair elections, they received further harrassment at your hands.
Fair elections means allowing ALL parties and candidates access to the electoral process.
I'm not a member of this Socialist Action group, nor have even heard of it. I just believe in (for real, unlike yourself) the importance of a fair electoral process.
Sadly, this SA, the DSA, Greens, etc., and other non-mainstream parties, since they don't receive the $billions in corporate kickbacks that the repugnicants and demoncrats receive, are not likely to get said fair access to the process.
Here in the U.S.A., our Constitution includes protection of free expression, my friend, which means this, or any other political group, whether you agree with them or not, have the right to voice their ideas in public spaces.
Are you afraid, friend, that if people receive their literature, they'll see the logic in their position, and abandon the hypocritical, corporatist, corrupt party to which you belong?
    That would be pretty cool.
Neither the Dems or Repugs are doing any kind of a decent job anymore. It's time other parties were heard.

  2. Don't you realize that by keeping this guy off the ballot you will prevent a split vote among the liberals?
You are either a political imbecile or secretly working for the Liberals.

  3. These folks were exercising their rights under the constitution. Try reading it. You have revealed yourself to be nothing more than a fascist minded goon.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
